HOWL (BONG-RIPPIN' LABYRINTH METAL from Providence, RI) will perform live at Earshot at 4pm and then will perform at Gottrocks with touring mates LIQUID LIMBS (quirky minimal indie-rock from Gainesville, FL) and others tba! HOWL destroyed Gottrocks back in June in support of TORCHE and now plan to pummel you with even more metal madness!

A melting-pot of laid-back melodies, hip-hop rhythms and acoustic guitars, Shwayze's self-titled debut [Suretone/Geffen Records] pays homage to an all-day-and-into-the-night party lifestyle colored by the rolling tides of his hometown beaches, and the rolling papers that flavor the proceedings. Collaborating with Shwayze, Adler co-wrote all of the songs on the album, producing and providing backing vocals along the way. Knoxville, Tennesse based Straight Line Stitch traces its origins back to the turn of the millennium when a lineup vaguely recognizable from the modern-day membership presented a tag-team vocal style. This early shadow of the band laid the groundwork for a collective which is gradually improving via an assembly of the current members. Straight Line Stitch might previously have been known for their rather fast and heavy style, but the refinement of their music has been forged in an itinerary of relentless touring and the result is maturity as a band, in which they have improved their brand of metal significantly.
